Thanks for stopping by our blog. If you’re looking for more information about Reflect Optometry, you’ve come to the right place.

About Reflect Optometry

We are a brand new full-scope eye clinic in Whitchurch-Stouffville, ON. We specialize in eye care and eyewear for all ages with a focus on the prevention and early detection of eye disease.

With twelve years of experience as an optometrist in York Region, Dr. Cristina Schirripa has developed a patient-centred philosophy for eye care. The pandemic provided an opportunity for Dr. Schirripa to reflect on what she envisions as the future of eye care for her patients. From this moment of pause came Reflect Optometry, a re-definition of what optometry and eye care mean to her. She and her staff aspire to provide exceptional, family-centered eyecare that reflect her values of friendliness, compassion, and honesty. They are excited to be doing what they love and providing exceptional care for their community.

Our neighbourhood clinic is easily accessible on the ground floor in the Ballantrae Gates Plaza on the NE corner of Highway 48 and Aurora Rd in Whitchurch-Stouffville.

We serve clients across Ballantrae, Stouffville, Aurora, Newmarket, East Gwillimbury, Uxbridge, Mount Albert, and the surrounding communities. We also connect virtually, through social media to keep our patients up to date with the latest news from our clinic.

The Reflect Optometry Difference

We, at Reflect Optometry, offer a personalized approach. So whether a teenager is looking to try contact lenses for the first time, or a senior is looking for a pair of sunglasses for the golf course, we want our patients to leave our clinic feeling confident with their eyesight and eyewear.

We've invested in state-of-the-art equipment, like Optical Coherence Tomography (OCT), which uses light rays to obtain high-resolution images of the retina and its layers to render a more in-depth look at the eye and its structures. Dr. Schirripa places a strong emphasis on patient education and communication and goes over these images in detail with her patients so that they may have a better understanding of their eye health.

We provide collaborative health care and often work together with family physicians and specialists to diagnose conditions and improve overall patient wellness, which fits our vision.

Our dream for the future is to be ever-evolving, as optometry is such an exciting profession with so many opportunities within it. The plan is to add new diagnostic equipment, including the latest in dry eye treatments and associate optometrists with expertise in specialty contact lens fittings, and vision therapy.
